The Journal Rewired

Julianna Miranda

Julianna Miranda, Features Reporter

Hi! My name is Julianna Miranda, and I’m a sophomore this year! This is my first year on The Journal, and I am a features writer. I took all-year journalism during my freshman year and absolutely fell in love with it. I’m so excited to get the opportunity to share my work with everyone. Other than The Journal, I have played for the SHS girl’s soccer team since I was in 6th grade as a defender. While we’re on the topic of school, I’m in orchestra and I enjoy playing the violin. In my freetime, I enjoy staying at home and having time to myself, as well as traveling around to find different things that interest me. I always enjoy finding  museums and spending time in parks while traveling. Originally, I was going to say cooking was a hobby of mine, but considering some say I can’t even cook eggs, I won’t. However, shopping for adorable things and makeup makes me very happy when I can find time for it. I love to spend quality time with my boyfriend and my family. Three adorable felines occupy my home, and I love every moment of it. Recently, I’ve been getting into playing Pokémon on my Nintendo Switch, thanks to my boyfriend. After I finish my academics, I plan to go to college either out of state or in-state, but have yet to decide on a major. For now though, I am going to enjoy my time with The Journal, and I hope to produce some amazing pieces this year.
