The Journal Rewired

Lily Zing

Lily Zing, Entertainment Reporter

Hello, My name is Lily Zing! I am currently a sophomore at SHS. I’ve heard so many good things about the Journal, which I decided to join at the very last minute. I am so glad I get to be an Entertainment writer! Besides The Journal, I am involved in severalclubs here at SHS such as Key Club and RDM. I am also the Secretary of the sophomore class. After high school, I want to make my way to becoming a pediatrician. Working with kids wasn’t something I expected of myself, but I do have a little sister who made me believe I might be great with kids. I am very indecisive, so don’t be surprised if you see me as a firefighter in the future. Outside of school, I love watching shows and movies. One of my favorite shows is Friends. The coziness of the show, and the friendship the characters share brings me comfort. Out of the characters in Friends. I would say I am a mix of the Geller siblings. I am a clean freak like Monica, but I am also a little bit of a nerd like Ross. I enjoy watching all sorts of Disney movies, but some of my favorites are Aladdin, Tangled and Mulan. The colorful animation and their unforgettable music just make my 15 years old heart full. After experiencing a typical day at school or anywhere else, I like to get out of reality by watching my comfort movies and shows, as most of them have happy endings that we normally wouldn’t see in our daily lives. I hope I can break out of my comfort zone and put myself out there for the Journal this year!
