Simran Baidwan, Managing Editor
Hi everyone, my name is Simran! This is my third year on The Journal, and I am thrilled to share that I will be serving on the leadership team as a Managing Editor this year. Going from a Culture Reporter to Lifestyle Editor to now a Managing Editor has been an amazing experience filled with personal growth and many accomplishments! I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve The Journal as a leader! Besides being on The Journal, I am involved in many different extracurricular activities, such as DECA, Speech and Debate, Cardinal Cadre and National Honors Society. Outside of school, I love reading and watching TV! My favorite book genres are true crime and fiction. And, my all time favorite shows are “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Derry Girls.” Additionally, I love to travel. So far, I have traveled to Canada, India and England. I have also been to various places in the U.S. I am also a music lover at heart. It is part of my everyday life from playing the violin, learning to play the keyboard or just listening to music. I am truly excited to see all of the great work our staff produces this year! I hope you enjoy the writing!
