Lucy Len Dim, Editor-in-Chief
Well hello there! :) My name is Lucy Len Dim, and I feel beyond blessed to serve as this year’s Editor-in-Chief. Words cannot express my deepest gratitude for this opportunity, and most importantly, this publication. Over the course of these four years, I’ve grown in Room 400 as a student in Journalism, a Features Reporter and a Culture Editor. Despite the shifting landscape of each school year, The Journal remains my home away from home. Saying that I love this publication is simply an understatement. Outside of The Journal, I entertain through SHS’s Jazz Choir, handle the big bucks as the Myanmar Student Association’s (MSA) Treasurer and serve the community through National Honors Society. When my schedule gets the chance to breathe, I love snuggling up with a good old romance book/movie and spending time with my sweet family and friends. I’d also like to thank my Heavenly Father for His grace and kindness. Everything I am and have is because of Him. On that note, I hope we can share even the slightest fraction of joy and love to you through our work. We appreciate each and every one of you that take the time to read our work and those who give us the opportunity to tell your story.
With love, Pathian ih zangfahnak le duhdawtnak cu nan parah tampi thleng hram seh <3 (May the Lord’s grace and love fall upon you abundantly.)
