The Journal Rewired

Chloe Meredith , Managing editor of content

Hey, I’m Chloe, and I’m the Managing Editor of Content this year for The Journal. This is my third and final (oh my god) year on staff, and I’m so ready for the new changes. We put so much effort into this publication, so I hope you are just as excited for the magazine as we are. Although it feels as if I live in room 400, you may also know me from orchestra, RDM, National Honor Society, or my involvement at the Baxter YMCA over my high school career. You can also see me at UniversiTees in the mall! In my free time I like to go out, read, watch Netflix, shop, and browse social media. I’m also open to new friends and good times, so you could just start texting me and I wouldn’t mind at all. I’m a softie for animals, so you can always become my friend by showing me pictures of your pet. I’m a baddie for makeup, so you can win me over with that, too. Stay cool, my homies.

(Left) Sophomore Olivia Barnett eats pasta with vegan cheese, carrots and almonds for lunch to satisfy her vegan lifestyle on Feb. 22. Barnett has been a vegan for only around a month but hopes to continue to be a vegan for the rest of her life. (Right) Although most days sophomore Samantha Beckham brings her vegetarian style lunch, she eats a peanut butter and jelly uncrustable sandwich, a banana and seasoned potatoes on Feb. 19. Beckham loved meat but still decided to be a vegetarian in 2010.
