Yanina Gojko, Staff Artist
Hello, my name’s Nina Gojko, I’m the staff artist for the Journal this year. I’m a senior, and it’s my first year on staff. In my free time, I like drawing (obviously), watching movies and going to museums. My favorite museum is the Indianapolis Museum of Art. After high school, I want to go to college for illustration. My biggest influences in art are Frida Kahlo and Claude Monet. I’ve been drawing since I was 4 or 5 years old.My favorite things to draw are skulls and plants. I’ve got two cats, Chevrolet and Tapioca. I enjoy long walks, because I can’t drive. I can be spotted wearing a jacket no matter the weather, as I’m always cold. I look forward to developing as an artist this year on the Journal!
