Marissa Muñoz, Foreign Language Editor
Hi! I’m Marissa and coming back for my second year on The Journal. I am so excited. With experience last year writing for the Sports Section and five years of studying Spanish under my belt I am elated to be the Foreign Language Editor. Journalism is one of the greatest things I get to do and I can’t wait to see everything the staff and myself can do in the future. When I’m not in the computer lab, I am usually on the golf course. This year I will be the team captain of the school team. I will also be the director of operations for the Riley Dance Marathon to raise money for Riley Children’s Hospital. I love making a difference where I can and knowing I can help others. In addition, I’m a junior booster club officer. Being involved in school is really important to me because it makes my time in school so much more fun. I love going to football games and theater productions and enjoying everything the school has to offer before I graduate. In the future I want to pursue a career in some kind of medical science and travel to broaden my view of the world. That’s not really on my mind these days, I’m just trying to enjoy right now and produce great journalistic content for everyone to see. Thanks for checking out The Journal!
