Grace Wilson, Entertainment Editor
Hey! My name is Grace Wilson. I am a junior here at SHS and am happy to announce that I am the new Entertainment Section Editor! Outside of The Journal, I am an Ambassador in Girl Scouts and work part time at Kroger. I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. Whether we are on a night drive around the city or playing games on my living room floor, I am always ready to spend time with my loved ones. I was happy with the time I got with everyone this summer. Speaking of summer, I spent 2 weeks in Australia! I traveled up the East Coast starting in Sydney and ending in Cairns. We camped, snorkeled and even toured the Sydney Opera House. Before I went to Australia, I spent a week at Girl Scout camp where I hosted the flag retirement ceremony as part of my Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn so it’s kind of a big deal. When I was home and didn’t have anything going on, I could probably be found at work trying to make some money (that will just get spent a few days after pay day). I also found the time to reconnect with some of my old hobbies. I picked up painting, writing and reading again, but those are just a few on the list. I am very grateful for the experiences I had this summer and I am so excited to get this school year started!
