Ayslin Bowman

Ayslin Bowman, Features Editor

Hi! I am Ayslin Bowman and I am so excited to be returning for my second year on The Journal as Features Editor! I am a junior, and besides The Journal, I like to play on the girls varsity volleyball team, participate in Riley Dance Marathon as a committee member and attend as many sporting events as possible. But this year, I would like to change. I want to try out for the girls lacrosse team in the spring (even though I have never played before), and I am looking to join other clubs if I find the time in my schedule! In my section, I would like to represent all of SHS and showcase diversity along with underrepresented sections of the school. Funnily enough, not much has changed about me from last year. I still love vinyls, books, crystals, plants, hanging out with friends and fashion but most of all, coffee. If you see me at Mocha Nut, Starbucks or Dunkin, it’s probably not my first cup of the day. Another thing I am still obsessed with is music. You can find me with an airpod in, a vinyl spinning or at a concert living it up with my friends! While I may not be a photographer this year, I still love to take photos either on my phone or on film. Anyways, I am so excited for this new century of The Journal and to be your Features Editor!! This year is going to slay!
