The Journal Rewired

Natalie Walker

Natalie Walker, Multimedia Editor

Hello all! My name is Natalie, I’m a junior and this is my second year on The Journal. I could not possibly be more excited for the year ahead. My position this year is the Multimedia Editor. This is a new section that's been added to improve our online content and move us further towards online journalism. It is quite a big leap from where I began last year, as one of the staff artists, but my mind is bursting with new ideas for this new section. Aside from The Journal, I’m also on the Speech and Debate team, and the WRAL team. I love these clubs with all my heart, just about as much as I love The Journal! My favorite subject is social studies, but I also love English. Outside of school I am an avid crocheter, I spend most of my free time making “crafts.” I have a love hate relationship with sewing and painting, but regardless of my mild disdain you can always find me making some art. Recently I’ve been trying to read but I just can’t help but dislike it. I live with my Mom and my step dad, and I have no siblings. You could also call Room 400 my second home because The Journal staff is like a second family. I am ecstatic about this new year (and century) of The Journal, I can’t wait for all the memories to come!
